The Service

Your Dinner Party

The first stage of the process is deciding which dinner style is suited to your function, Lebanese Feast or the World Food style of service, then followed by confirming your booking date.

The World menu is the restaurant plated experience at home. A plated service prepared using premium products and ingredients. This premium service is for small groups 6-8 people with a price range from $160-$180 per head.

The Lebanese Feast option is for a larger group from 6-12 people with a price range from $90 -$110 per head and is a traditional help yourself casual dinner table banquet/buffet-style service. All the above prices are rough estimates and will depend on the menu selection and availability of ingredients.

Couples are catered for ranging from $180-$260 per head.

Next step involves selecting your menu items. Robert will personally help you draw up a plan that will include; the time guest will be arriving, time for pre-dinner drinks and the dinner to follow. We may require visiting your home to discuss your plan and get a feel for your kitchen and space where your dinner is being held.

With the above confirmed a 50% deposit is required prior to the event. Robert, we will advise you of the time needed and the time we will arrive to prepare for your event. This will depend on the dinner option and styles of the menu and the number of guests. Please be advised some dinner parties may require preparation and cooking time up to 6 hours before the dinner is ready.

Note: Please be aware costs are based largely on the time involved to prepare the event including shopping and preparation then the cost of ingredients. When a rough estimate is provided for a set number of guest, the cost per head is fixed for the number of guest provided at the time of the estimate. The reduction of cost, should guests drop out, is not calculated according to the head cost of the initial estimate.

The Ingredients

All fresh ingredients including vegetable, herbs and meats will be purchased early in the morning on the day and be brought to your kitchen for preparation and cooking.

The Preparation

A well-equipped and comprehensive kitchen suited for entertaining is required. A list of the cooking equipment, implements and serving ware needed will be provided as a check list. Any needed equipment out of the ordinary Robert will bring along.

The Cooking

When the preparation work has been completed, cooking will commence. It is most important to cook on a good quality gas stovetop and fan-forced oven. Electric stovetops are acceptable but we ask that they are fast/hot and modern. The stovetop should be equipped with a minimum of four burners or hot plates.
